Zravasya's End

That was the last sigh of Zravasya. He was drawn towards heaven and saw no more of the Earth where he had wasted all his life. He was free in the end, from this horrible nightmare. He could now see the face of God. It was nothing like the images that the demons in the land called Earth showed him. It was brighter than he had ever imagined. It was neither man nor woman, neither human nor animal, neither anything nor anything else. It was what it was; unthinkable, inapprehensible, non-graspable. It was the ultimate image of everything that existed put together. All the sorrow and hollowness he had felt inside him till his last breath was nothing but a meaningless dream. His entire life was... was surreal. This was the reality that he now faced. This was the truth that every human being and any being with intelligence should know, lest they are bound to that hell called Earth.

As he lay on the ashes
His living has wrought,
Eyes blinded by flashes
Of the Light he forgot,
He saw the true visage of
The Magnanimous God.

'Zravasya' was he known by
In the land of Demon-Men.
He was none unlike thy,
Was a believer but beaten,
Prayed to God till he did die
But in the Godless Den.

Wars were won by him,
Much treasures he conquered;
But his lantern was still dim
His vision was blurred.
Death became a bad dream,
It was then that he erred.

He grasped sense in Living;
Found god in inanimate,
Contrived by almsgiving
Of the Devil's Mandate.
None had he gaingiving
Of his draconian fate.

The sense brought confusion
As it was incomplete.
That god was Damnation
A meaningless conceit.
His need of purgation
Offered by defeat.

But the sun never sets
Forever and ever.
And so the star rose then
In Zravasya's favour;
It gave him the Lost Light
Blossomed his endeavour.

He saw the blinding Visage
Of the true unseen God.
His life taken as prisage
For his soul to freely plod
In the Divine Collage
Of the Universe thawed.

He looked down to the world,
The laws needing ammend.
Pitied the spineless men,
Wishing that he could lend
The wisdom of the Light.
So was Zravasya's End.
